A remote project is work defined by deliverables rather than a local visit, such as design, software, translation, editing or another professional service. Where such project features are offered, clients and providers should agree on the deliverables, price, milestones, files, revisions and time zone. Remote does not mean that professional licensing, tax or cross-border payment obligations cease to apply.
